Anna and Jimmy met while attending San Diego State University, and from the very beginning, they’ve been inseparable. What started as a college connection quickly grew into a partnership built on laughter, loyalty, and a shared love for adventure. This year marks nine years together-nine years of growing up side by side, cheering each other on, and building a life that feels deeply and undeniably them. Along the way, they also welcomed their now four-year-old golden retriever, the true light of their lives, who has filled their days with joy, fur, and unconditional love.

Now, they’re making it official in a place that feels beautifully full-circle. Wind and Sea Estate shares its name with the San Diego beach where Jimmy proposed, making it the perfect setting to begin their next chapter. They can’t wait to celebrate this moment with the people who have loved and supported them all these years. 💛

Perched along California’s iconic coastline, Big Sur is where dramatic cliffs meet the Pacific Ocean, offering sweeping views, rugged natural beauty, and an unforgettable sense of calm. Wind and Sea Estate captures everything we love about Big Sur — ocean vistas, towering cypress trees, and a feeling of being tucked away in a truly special place. Please note that the property is built into the natural landscape and includes multiple stairs and uneven paths throughout. We recommend comfortable footwear and want to flag in advance that the venue may be challenging for guests with limited mobility.

Dress to impress while keeping comfort in mind. We’re envisioning an elevated yet relaxed coastal look.

Men: suits or dress shirts with slacks (ties optional). Lightweight linen or cotton suits in tan, beige, ivory or light gray or soft navy fitting the setting beautifully and evoke coastal vibes to stay cool in the sun. Loafers or breathable shoes pair well with these looks; skip heavy fabrics.

Women: think flowy or structured dresses in coastal neutrals - champagne, taupe, sand, soft gray, sage, or muted blues. Midi or maxi lengths are perfect, and we highly recommend flats, wedges, or block heels, as the property features over 100 stairs and uneven pathways (stilettos are not your friend here).Heels REALLY not recommended - choose wedges or dressy flats.
